Planet Dog Foundation

Planet Dog Foundation is looking to support Canine Service Programs

The Planet Dog Foundation seeks to fund new and proven initiatives in which dogs help to give back to people in need through canine-service initiatives.

Funding will be allocated to 501c3 nonprofit organizations across the United States to promote and financially support service-oriented canine activities that include:

  • service dogs
  • therapy dogs
  • animal-assisted therapy
  • search and rescue dogs
  • police, fire, military dogs
  • and other innovative canine-service programs.

Because the foundation’s grants do not exceed $5,000 each, it will review annual operational budgets to fund those organizations best able to maximize a PDF grant. The foundation earmarks the majority of its funding for grassroots, smaller nonprofits with budgets under $300,000, and only funds nonprofit 501(c)(3) organizations. Applications will be accepted from anywhere within the United States.

Please note: The Planet Dog Foundation does not fund programs engaged in animal cruelty or testing, nor does it give funds for spay/neuter programs, or animal shelter or rescue program operating expenses.
