Many animal rescue groups already work with local Build A Bears, particularly when a new stuffed animal comes out that resembles a rescued animal. Several years ago, a new Boxer puppy was released, and Build a Bear Workshop locations were very generous in allowing Boxer rescuers to set up tables for fundraising purposes throughout the store. Many groups already have a connection with their local stores to host regular tabling events at their mall location.

Take a look to see if they have your rescued breed if you are a breed rescuer, or ask for any selection of stuffed items. It’s certainly worth the time and stamp to get a unique and wonderful auction item that will appeal to anyone.

Build A Bear Workshop Product Donation

Build-A-Bear Workshop® is beary happy to review requests for charitable donations with priority given to 501(c)(3) charities that help children, families and animals. In order to be considered for a donation, please follow these guidelines:

* All requests need to be mailed on your organization’s letterhead.
* Please submit your written request 8 weeks prior to the date the donation is needed in order to give our donations department enough time to respond.
* Requests cannot be accepted via fax, email, or web.
* In your request, please include the following information:
o Organization and contact name, address, and telephone number, and/or e-mail address
o Type of event
o Date of event
o Date response needed
