There was a major wildfire last year on the Gunflint Trail in Grand Marais, MN and we had to evacuate up to 30 horses and quite a few cats and dogs. We did not have any facility available to house the horses. We would like to develop such a facility for the future as I am sure we will eventually have another wildfire and the number of horses is growing in our county. We are looking for some help in raising funds for a facility.
