Foundation for the Carolinas Accepting Grant Applications From Animal Welfare Organizations

The Foundation for the Carolinas ( http://www.fftc.org/ ) is now accepting grant applications on behalf of the George D. Patterson Family Fund. The Patterson Family Fund provides significant support to agencies focused on animal welfare. Since the inception of the fund in 2001, grants totaling more than $676,000 have benefited forty-one nonprofits throughout the Piedmont region.

Through this round of funding, grants of up to $25,000 each will be awarded to nonprofit organizations throughout Mecklenburg County, North Carolina, and surrounding counties that focus on animal issues, specifically those agencies offering spay/neuter programs, rural animal care, and animal therapy for people with special needs.
