The Arthur L. and Elaine V. Johnson Foundation supports nonprofit organizations which provide for the care, benefit, and preservation of seeing eye dogs or other animals trained to assist the sight impaired or otherwise handicapped individuals (or that facilitate the use of such animals by sight-impaired or otherwise handicapped individuals).

The Foundation also supports nonprofit organizations that provide for the preservation, care, and benefit of wildlife and the world’s natural resources.

The Foundation prefers to fund projects that will assist an organization in a long-term change, such as expanding capacity (including building funds and equipment), or undertaking a new area of service. Requests for funds to support on-going program costs are given a lower priority.

Note: The Foundation does not fund the therapeutic use of animals.
