Yankee Candle Fundraiser
Not all catalog based fundraisers are created equally! Yankee Candles can help your group earn 40% of sales while selling a highly popular item to your family and friends!
While many catalog brochure sales companies may offer 40% for the fundraising group’s profit, Yankee Candle is one of the few that has a well-known, reputable product with years of backing. Yankee Candles are a respected product complete with their own branding. Your customers will know they are getting a quality item at a great price, while supporting your fundraising cause. Too often our friends and families are asked to purchase overpriced items from a company they’ve never heard of before. Yankee Candles are different! Your volunteers will be proud to sell these highly sought after candles and accessories, while raising money for a cause they love.

Candles are a great sales item for early Spring, celebrating Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day and are used for showers or wedding favors. They also work wonderfully in the Fall when the temperatures start to dip and people enjoy the scents and smells of Fall. The glowing of candlelight sets the mood nicely for romantic evenings, and fills the home with a sense of warmth on cooler nights.
Good luck with your future fundraiser!

yankee does do 40% profit, but does it by raising the cost of the candles over what they usually retail them for.

Hi!
Yes, I noticed a few of the items were slightly higher in the fundraising catalog than on their retail website. For instance, the 14.5 oz HouseWarmer jars retail for $19.99 online (plus $6 shipping), and in the fundraising catalog they are listed as $21. Not a huge difference, and a bit over $8 goes to the selling group. The Yankee Company refers to this slight price difference in their FAQ section towards the bottom here:

They also don’t offer all their products through the fundraising catalog, just their most popular ones.
Hope this helps note the difference in the prices. I’m sure most customers would still enjoy the great products, and be happy to pay $1 more in order for a charity to get $8.
